WAF Log Storage Fees
These fees apply when using the feature to store integrated WAF logs for a specified period. By setting a specific retention period for each WAF Config, you can define the scope of logs to be pooled for analysis including the log search function, detection dashboard, and the Bot Dashboard within the Log Intelligence option.
The feature to store integrated WAF logs for a specified period is available upon activation. Until this feature is enabled, the number of viewable logs remains restricted (at no additional cost).

Pricing
WAF log storage fees are based on a pay-as-you-go model (including a free tier of 1 million records) calculated by the number of stored WAF log records.
Specifically, it is calculated using the following formula:
As stated above, you are billed daily for the number of stored WAF log records that exceed the free tier. Since the number of stored WAF logs is specified in days for each WAF Config, the total number of logs in storage will fluctuate based on daily log trends. However, our algorithm is designed so that sudden traffic spikes on a specific day do not significantly impact the total fee.
Notes and Additional Information
- This feature is available only for the new plan using AWS WAF v2 with WAF log integration enabled. The old plan and Trial plan are not supported.
- WAF log storage fees are billed monthly per WafCharm account. The total amount based on your usage will be included in the current month's fees.
- This feature does not aggregate the number of web requests. Furthermore, the WAF log retention period does not affect the additional cost for number of web requests, which is part of the WafCharm usage fees.
- Once the feature to store integrated WAF logs for a specified period is enabled, it cannot be reverted to the state where the number of viewable logs is restricted (at no additional cost).
- This feature is not available for WafCharm for Azure or WafCharm for GCP.
Log Intelligence Option Fee
The Log Intelligence option provides WAF log analysis features to quickly and easily respond to bots and DoS/DDoS attacks. For details on the features included in this option, please refer to the Available Features section below.
This follows a subscription billing model; charges begin on the day the subscription starts and continue until the end of the month in which the subscription is canceled. Please refer to the sections below for restrictions and important notes.

Notes and Additional Information
- This option is contracted on a per-account basis. The number of WAF Configs you use does not affect the Log Intelligence option fee.
- The features provided in this option are available only for the Advanced Rule policy. This option is not available for the Legacy Rule policy.
- To use the features included in this option, you must enable the WAF log integration feature.
- Charges are added to your billing starting from the month you subscribe to this option. Fees are not prorated.
- Subscriptions cannot be canceled mid-month. When you apply for cancellation, the status will change to "scheduled for cancellation," and the subscription will be terminated the following month. You can continue to use the option during this scheduled period.
Example: If you start a subscription on October 1 and cancel it on October 10, the option remains available until October 31. The fee for October will be billed, and the subscription will be canceled starting in November.
- This option is not available for WafCharm for Azure or WafCharm for GCP.
