Overview

The Billing History page displays a list of past billing records. The Billing Details page allows you to view the total billing amount and its breakdown for a selected month.

Notes

  • The Billing Details page is accessible only to the owner account and member accounts with Manager permissions.
  • The visible items differ between the new and old plans. For more details, please see the section below.
  • This page displays the details of past billing charges. It does not show the breakdown of estimated charges for the next billing cycle.
  • The Billing History page displays billing details starting from January 2025. Billing details for periods prior to January 2025 are not available.

How to Use

The Billing History Page

  1. Open the WafCharm Console.
  2. Open the Dashboard page.
  3. Click the [Past Billing Details] button in the [Billing Amount] panel.
  4. On the [Billing History] page, click the row for the billing month you want to view.

About the Billing Details Page

  1. Open the WafCharm Console.
  2. Open the Dashboard page.
  3. Click the [Details] link next to the [For MM YYYY] label in the [Billing Amount] panel.

About the Items on the Billing History Page

On the Billing History page, the billing month, total amount, number of logs, and the subscribed plan for that month are displayed. Clicking a row will open the Billing Details page for the selected month.

About the Items on the Details Page

The following items are displayed on the Billing Details page.

[Total] Section

The total billing amount and its breakdown are listed.

Item

Description

Company Name

The name of the company registered in your account information.

Plan

The name of the plan you are subscribed to.

Plan Charge

Plan charge for your subscription.

WAF Unit Charge

The actual billed amount for the WAF unit charge. A WAF unit corresponds to the number of registered WAF Configs.

Daily WAF Unit Deduction

The actual billed amount for the daily WAF unit deduction. WAF unit charges are prorated on a daily basis. This shows the deducted amount when WAF Configs are created or deleted during the billing month. If no WAF Configs were created or deleted during the month, no deduction is applied.

Overage Charge

The overage charge applied when the number of logs exceeds the limit included in your subscribed plan.

Log Intelligence Option Charge

This shows the usage fee for the Log Intelligence option. If the option is not subscribed, a hyphen (–) is displayed. This is shown only for the new plan.

WAF Log Storage Charge

This shows the usage fee when the WAF log storage format is set to Expanded mode. When Fixed mode is used, a hyphen (–) is displayed. This is shown only for the new plan.

[Resource Usage] Section

The registered WAF Configs and the number of logs are displayed.

Description

Number of WAF Units

The number of registered WAF Configs.

Number of Logs

The total number of aggregated logs (web requests).

Average Stored WAF Logs This Month

When you are using the new plan and Expanded mode is selected for the WAF log storage format, this shows the average number of stored WAF logs and its breakdown. The values shown here may differ from the number of web requests (number of logs). When Fixed mode is selected, a hyphen (–) is displayed.

[List of WAF Units] Section

Item

Description

WAF Config Name

The names of WAF Configs that existed during the billing month, including those that were deleted.

Created Date

Creation date of the WAF Configs that existed during the billing month.

Deleted Date

Deletion date of the WAF Configs that existed during the billing month. A hyphen is shown if the WAF Config has not been deleted.

Usage Days

Number of billable days for WAF Configs that existed during the billing month. If a WAF Config was present for the entire month, the value will be 30 or 31. For WAF Configs created or deleted partway through the month, the number of billable days is shown. If a WAF Config is not considered billable, such as when it was created by mistake and deleted shortly after, the value will be 0.

Number of Logs

The number of logs aggregated per WAF Config. This item is only available to users on the new plan. It is not shown for users on the old plan.

WAF Log Retention Period

The WAF log retention period configured for this WAF Config. This is displayed only when you are using the new plan and have selected Expanded mode for the WAF log storage format.
